Boat Lift Motor

Boat lift motors are often the all necessary part that runs your boat lift. If you think your boat lift motor is acting out of the ordinary, perhaps it is time to get it looked at. Anyone authorized to work on boat lifts should be able to look at your boat lift motor. Maybe your boat lift motor sounds as if it is under a strain when you are using it. You may need to get it checked out just as you would any other motor.

A boat lift motor can sometimes act up because it is in need of an overhaul. If a simple overhaul does not do the trick, you may need to replace some parts of the motor, if not the motor itself. When looking for parts for your boat lift motor, try checking with your local boat lift dealer, or the dealer you purchased your boat lift from. They should be able to tell you where you can find parts, or maybe even order them for you. 

If your boat lift motor is not up to par, you may not need to run your boat lift, until you have this checked out. You would not want to make what might be a simple repair to your motor, more complicated by running it. Find out if your boat lift motor is still under warranty, before you go out and buy a new motor or parts. This may save you some money.

Until you get your boat lift motor running again, you may want to borrow a friends boat lift. You would not want your boat or water craft to suffer any damage, just because your boat lift is inoperable.
